Steadily Downhill Goes The Blops

I haven't posted hear in a while because there hasn't been much to post. With Ghosts coming out soon, the hackers have been fairly prevalent in recent weeks in Black Ops 2. And there are even still servers with frequent server-wide lag spikes. I'm really hoping Ghosts can save this franchise.

Oh, and I did have someone comment on my Steam profile and a screenshot, accusing me of hacking and having prior bans (full size image here):

Party Games (And still broken internets)

Played a few party games last night; here's one of my matches in my favorite gametype (Sticks and Stones):

This match helped throw me to the top of the leaderboard for this gametype. Hadn't realized before that it's not score per minute, but total points per game (had 270 this map). Party Games may not be hardcore, but there are still plenty of weapons/opportunities to still get one shot kills (not to mention all the knifing). Which reminds me, I was thinking about playing some Core, going knife only. Could be fun and make for some good footage... need to try for a VSAT with knifing only.

The Charter guy came by, replaced the old modem with a new one, and left. It didn't fix anything. He was supposed to come back today, but hasn't... so, still no streaming yet. =(

Nuclear on RAID (Video!) and Streaming News

Meanwhile, Charter is still being terrible at fixing my upload. Tech came out, replaced the modem with a new one, said it works and left. Still only getting about 1.5mbps upload (and it's not steady), which means I still can't stream yet. Tech will be back tomorrow evening; hopefully I'll get some answers.

Also, I've been liking the Type25 recently for the smaller maps. It has great hipfiring accuracy and nice iron sights. I still use the Peacekeeper though, for the most part (laser and fast mag). Been usuing Fast Hands now on all my classes; reminds me of the old days with Slight of Hand.

If Ghosts doesn't have real (rentable) dedicated servers, I'm going to try my hardest not to buy it

P.S.
I think I may try a higher bitrate from now on for the videos. That 720p resolution upload doesn't look as crisp as it should. Was only about 6mbps bitrate... I'll try 8 or 9 next time. Oh, and the next video upload will be from Party Games. =D

Today Was A Good Day

Finally got my nuclear after my 4th or 5th fresh start (can't remember). It was on Raid of course, because that is my favorite map on the Citadel (gametype was domination). I also had used a new set of scorestreaks which worked very well; UAV/StealthChopper/VSAT. Having the stealth chopper and VSAT up at the same time gave me tons of points, so I was able to just keep getting more of them until the game ended.

Been holding steady at about 2.25kdr and always the highest on the leaderboard, so I probably won't fresh start again... but I won't say "never".

I'll throw up some videos on here in the near future (probably after this weekend unless I have time tomorrow night before going backpacking).

Same As Ever

Blops2 is still the same as it ever was. I still refuse to spend more money on such a broken game (ex: lagcomp is messed up, some servers can't handle the 4team matches). Still getting accused of hacking all the time. I've been streaming a lot more regularly.

Been playing so much that I keep losing track of games I've been meaning to record/upload. Fresh started for the 4th or 5th time. Currently at 2.22 kdr and ~540spm.

Being the top on all the leaderboards (not counting the hackers/boosters), I wonder if that'd help at all to get a job with Treyarch. =P

I'll upload more interesting things in a bit.

Knife Only Clutch, Epic Comeback, and some good old fashioned TDM.

Played a couple games of S&D a few nights ago; decided to try going knife only. Ended up getting a nice 1v5 clutch with the plant (blogspot or Google is broken, and I can no longer see my youtube videos to embed them here, so I have to just give you a link):

First Black Ops 2 Live Video Recording

First of several live recorded videos (full matches). I started out 30-0 on this one; closest I've gotten to a nuclear since my last fresh start (had one turret kill of that 30).

3.5hrs of video from the video camera. Going to see if it works best to put up the screen-recording of the games side-by-side like I did before. Some good matches to come... 30-0, 18-0 (at the start of the match). I think it'd be interesting if I had a couple GoPro cameras to wear. One seeing exactly what I see (attached to my head), then the other looking back at me/mouse/keyboard. Or maybe I'm getting carried away; this is just a game after all... isn't it?

Dear Hackusationers,

I finally got around to setting up a camera (Canon t2i @ 1080p 30fps) to watch me playing Black Ops 2. I'll be editing it together with about 4-5 full length matches. I know I'm one of those guys that tons of people think hack (as I still seriously get called a hacker every day), so I wanted to display, without question, my quickness and mind skills. I'll have at least one of the matches up on the internets by the end of the week. First match I recorded I started out 18-0 (Domination on Cargo). I just wish I was recording the audio as well, so I could have all the voice chat of people calling me a hacker and what not; would've been entertaining, but oh well.

Also, Treyarch yet again, lost TWO of my greatest matches. I played some Core Domination a few days ago with [Lh]BarracudA, while using a knife only class. Had over a 2.0 KDR in all but one map, but alas, I can't find ANY of the Core games in my recent history. Oh well, I suppose I'll just have to do it again sometime...

Best In The World

I've decided to mold my gaming career after the persona of CM Punk. If you're not a wrestling fan, I'll tell you that CM Punk is pretty much the top guy in the business. He calls himself the "best in the world" and he is just that. He also (not just his character) lives a straight-edge life, which I translate to my COD persona as no hacking, ever. I'm pretty much on top of the leaderboard 100% of the time now, so I'm gonna dig into that character of being simply the best in the world. Show me one COD player with a higher score that never hacked, boosted, or exploited.

With the hackusations never ending, I'll be filming myself playing next week, not because I have anything to prove to the accusers, but because I know how frustrating it is to play against someone when you think they're hacking (and because the accusers can be rather hilarious).

Also will have more full-game videos coming soon... ever sinced I started using the Peacekeeper with laser-sight, fast mag, and long barrell, I've been keeping my K/D ration well over 2.00.

Accused of Hacking Every Day Now

I'm getting accused of hacking at least once a day now, for the past week or two. A lot of times it's because of lag. Having 4bars vs 3bars seems to make a huge difference in this game... if only they had dedicated servers.

Too many good games to go through, but I'll find something to post soon.
